FAQ Delivery

Do you call first to schedule the delivery?

Our policy is to deliver an arrangement on the date you request (weather permitting*) unless you specifically ask us to call first. Our website does not offer delivery confirmation.

If the recipient isn’t home at the attempted time of delivery, our driver will decide if it’s safe to leave the arrangement (usually on a front porch or at a side door), and we will call or text to notify the recipient.

If there is no appropriate spot to leave a delivery, our courier drivers will bring it back to our shop and contact the recipient. The recipient can arrange to pick up the order at our shop, or schedule a new delivery window. In these cases a second delivery fee may be charged.

*In cases of extreme weather (too hot, too cold, snowstorm, etc) we will call ahead to schedule a two hour delivery window. If we do not hear from the recipient, delivery may be delayed or re-scheduled.

What happens if no one is home for the delivery?

Unless you've asked us to call first to check to see if the recipient is home, we will deliver on the date requested (weather permitting). Once left, we will call or text the recipient to let them know to look for their flowers.

If you’re not sure if the recipient is in town, please check first, or ask us to call to schedule the delivery. If you did not ask us to call first and a delivery is left for someone who is out of town, additional fees will apply for us to pick up and re-deliver the arrangement.

What are your typical delivery hours?

Our deliveries are typically made between 10 and 3pm. Other times outside these hours can usually be arranged by request in advance.

Can you do same day delivery?

Please order before 1pm for same day delivery.

We will do our best, but same day deliveries cannot be guaranteed. If your order includes a special requirement (i.e. specific flowers, strict delivery window), please call the shop directly to make sure we can accommodate your request.

Can you do Contact Free Delivery?

To be considerate of the recipient and our courier drivers, if requested we will leave flowers at the door. Once left, we will call or text the recipient to let them know to look for their flowers.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver daily to these towns in New Hampshire: Brentwood, Dover, Durham, East Kingston, Epping, Exeter, Greenland, Hampton, Hampton Falls, Kensington, Kingston, Lee, New Castle, Newmarket, Newfields, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Rye, Seabrook, & Stratham.

Depending on the weather and how busy we are we may also be able to accommodate:

Fremont, Newington, Newton, Nottingham, Raymond, & South Hampton, New Hampshire

Amesbury, Salisbury, & Newburyport, Massachusetts

Kittery, Maine

When is it ok to leave flower & plants outside?

We will typically leave flower arrangements outside as long as it's between 34-80 degrees outside. Our flower cooler is 38 degrees, so it's actually keeping the flowers fresh when the temperatures are above freezing.

For plants we will use our judgement on the temperature based on the plant's requirements. Most house plants aren't happy outside in temperatures under 55-60 degrees.

Do you deliver to student dorms at Phillips Exeter Academy?

When ordering for a student at PEA the school has requested that we deliver directly to the mailroom. The mailroom then notifies the student that they have flowers to pick up. Please note: the mailroom is open until 3:50PM M-F and 11:50AM on Saturdays. Weekdays, we try our best to deliver the student's flowers before noon so they have a chance to reach the mailroom before it closes for the day.

Do you deliver to Exeter Hopsital?

We deliver to a designated main entrance at Exeter Hospital and the staff of the hospital bring the delivery to the patient or staff of the hospital. Fresh flowers and plants are not allowed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

Do you ship flowers or belong to a network like Teleflora?

We do not ship flowers outside of our local delivery are and we no longer belong to any networks of florists for sending flowers outside of our area.

Instead, we recommend doing a google search for florist in the town and state you are trying to send to. Scroll down past the Sponsored Ads to the section called Places where it will give you a list of local shops with contact information including websites where you can see examples of their work.
